Tanzania to offer alternate education for school dropouts

Good news is on the way for school dropouts in Tanzania. The Government has come out with a proposal to provide an opportunity to the academic dropout students to continue their education in alternate colleges.

As per the rights groups in Tanzania, the above proposal not only provides an opportunity for students, but also provides a relief for female students who faced discrimination in the previous Government regime due to various rules and regulations.

The opportunity for these students to study will be provided under the Folk Development College (FDCs) as per Leonard Akwilapo, Senior Official Ministry of Education. He also added that by January 2022, all the 54 FDC colleges will be ready to provide this education to the school dropouts.
